About

Correct Score Predict is an independent football site about one question: how is a match likely to finish? It covers the exact score, the result, the number of goals and the margin, across the major European leagues and a range of competitions further afield.

What you will find here

Every prediction page has two parts. The first is a table of fixtures with the chance of a home win, a draw and an away win, the likeliest score and the number of goals each match is expected to produce. That table comes from an external football data feed and refreshes automatically. We do not hand-pick the matches in it or adjust its numbers.

The second part is a guide written for that page. Each one answers a specific question with real figures: how often favourites at a given rating win, how many goals matches produce, what the half-time score says about the final one, how each league differs. Those figures are our own work, counted from public match records covering tens of thousands of games, and every page states the seasons and the number of matches behind its numbers.

How we work

Our results data comes from public archives of league and cup matches, including the free archive at football-data.co.uk. Where a page quotes a champion, a points total or a record, we check it against at least one independent source before publishing. Where our data covers only one or two seasons, the page says so.

We write each guide individually, for the question that page answers, and we update them when new seasons change the picture. The methodology page explains the calculations in more detail.

What we do not do

We do not sell tips, run paid groups or offer guaranteed results. Nothing on this site is a promise that a match will finish a certain way, and anyone claiming to sell fixed matches or certain wins is not telling the truth. The site is free to read.

Football betting is for adults aged 18 and over. If you choose to bet, set a limit you can afford to lose and keep to it. If betting stops being enjoyable, free and confidential help is available from organisations such as GamCare and Gambling Therapy.
