Correct score is the hardest mainstream call in football, and we think the only honest way to run a prediction site is to be open about that from the start. This page explains how we think about accuracy and what you should realistically expect.
Why exact scores are hard
A single match has many believable final scores. Even when you correctly read which side is stronger and how a game will flow, one deflection or late goal turns a 1-0 into a 2-0 and the exact call is gone. Across a season, even careful analysis lands a minority of individual scorelines. Anyone claiming otherwise is not being straight with you.
How we measure ourselves
We judge our work on the quality and honesty of the reasoning rather than the occasional perfect week. A good process shows up over many fixtures, not one, and the aim is to be right more often than the long odds imply while being open when we are wrong. We would rather publish fewer, better reasoned picks than chase a hit rate with volume.
What you should expect
Treat every selection as a probability, not a promise. The value is in a considered read on the fixtures we can genuinely call, and in the discipline of skipping the ones we cannot. Used sensibly, with realistic expectations, that is a genuinely useful way to follow football closely.
Our commitment
We will not promise certainties, sell guaranteed results or pretend the market is easier than it is. We explain our thinking, we point to related markets when a scoreline is unclear, and we keep everything free to read. That honesty is the standard we hold ourselves to.
